Kiddstock 'The Magic Kingdom' Added by ads_menu (1 Attending)

Phase One: Wales – ‘The Magic Kingdom’

May 24th Bank Holiday Sunday – Anglesey Showground, North Wales

Hidden away in a top secret haven of wonderment and mischief lies the stage for Phase One of the most epic events of the summer; Kiddstock ‘The Enchanted Realms’. This Easter Bank Holiday prepare for a new dawn of the harder styles, a journey that will leave you breathless and truly mesmerized.

Following two successful years of captivating the people in the land of the North East with their legendary Kiddstock events, the time has come to open up the doors to the ‘The Magic Kingdom’. The Witches and Wizards of the Underground that go by the name of Kiddfectious have something exceptional simmering in their cauldron for the ravers of Wales. Although the exact details of this mystical and magical occasion are being kept tightly under wraps, rumour has it that the folk of Wales are set to be treated to an experience unlike any other.

Three gateways to ‘The Magic Kingdom’ will be burst open come this momentous date. The first showcasing the finest, most powerful and most accomplished Masters of the harder styles known in this land and beyond. Uttering’s are already being heard about the coming of the Kings and Queens of Hard Dance, accompanied by the Warlocks of Q-Dance. Is it true that the Kiddstock 2008 headliners could be making the trip to the Enchanted Realm of Wales?

The second gateway will be hosted by none other than Wales’ premier hard dance and hardcore hobgoblins – Clinic. Here, the most astonishing selection of the hardest and fastest beats will transport you to a world you never thought possible. Whispers that technical wizardry second to none will be performed by UK hardcore legends alongside a whole host of Clinic prodigies.

Gateway three will take travellers on a slightly alternative expedition, testing the limits of comprehension as Pioneers of Dance take over. Curious and creative beats will be the speciality with a heavy sprinkling of surprises thrown in to the proceedings.

‘The Magic Kingdom’ will twist and bemuse your mind, conjure delight in your senses, and leave your body tantalised and twitching. Do not miss out on this epic adventure into the World of the Harder Styles.

THE VIPER (Holland)
(Babyboom / Nepphyte / Rotterdam / Viper Beatz)
http://www.djtheviper.com

In 1996, The Viper released his first E.P 'The Beat' on Samurai Records. From then on The Viper was able to take his production skills to the next level and every subsequent release became an instant party hit. Several successful collaborations followed with top Dutch hardcore DJs/producers such as; DJ Isaac, G-Town Madness, Mad-E-Fact, Endymion, Nosferatu, Neophyte, Evil Activities, DJ D, and Tommyknocker.
In 2003, 2005, and 2007 The Viper worked on the 'Project Hardcore’ anthems with Evil Activities (2003), Endymion & Nosferatu (2005), and with G-Town madness (2007). Every remix he has made, has always become an instant classic. He has done remix work for 'Damage Inc. - Turn around', 'Tony Salmonelli - Hey' with Mad-E-Fact, and one of the most played tracks in 2006/2007 was his remix of 'Tha Playah - **** the Titties' with Tommyknocker.
In 2006, The Viper decided to start up his own record label called; 'Viper Beatz.' The first release, which was titled, 'Blow Da Club Down' was a true hit in the hardcore world. Every DJ in the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, and Germany played this record. Naturally, it continued to cross international borders, thus infecting the world. For the second release of Viper Beatz, he teamed up again with G-Town Madness with a track called, 'Come As One.' This track also became a massive anthem. Due to the success of this track, it was chosen as The Project Hardcore anthem of 2007.
The Viper has played at almost every big event over the last couple of years. These events include, but are not limited to; Thunderdome, Project Hardcore, A Nightmare In Rotterdam, Hard Bass, Defqon, Raving Nightmare, and Masters of Hardcore. His talent and skills behind the turntables shows how popular this charismatic hardcore DJ has become over the years. Needless to say, in 2009, The Viper is still one of the most popular DJs in the Dutch hardcore scene.
We here at Twisted & Brainfire are very excited about The Viper's T&B debut!

MARC SMITH
(Notorious Vinyl)
http://www.myspace.com/theoriginaldjmarcsmith

This man needs no introduction. Marc Smith is back in his home town and ready to rock Reactor once again. A favorite here at T&B Marc has been at the forefront of the Scottish hardcore scene for many years. Playing at all the big party’s from back in the day such as, Rezerection, Holocaust, Technodrome and Earthquaker to name but a few, right up to present day with party’s such as, HTID, Uproar, Slammin Vinyl and Twisted & Brainfire.
Whilst so many others follow the obvious fads and fashions, Marc Smith continues to reel in an abundance of main room bookings and make a Notorious name for himself by stamping out his own and his label’s unique party friendly sound without surrendering to the more mainstream oriented side of the hardcore scene.
Marcs own label Notorious Vinyl is hugely popular in the UK hardcore scene, with the latest release Marc Smith & Gammer – The Building Shaker EP, Tearing up dance floors across the UK!
Get ready for the usual turntable wizardry from Marc as he graces the decks at Reactor May 29th!

The Gabber Jihad's Birthday Party
COTTAGE GROVE, MN

Main Stage

DJ S3RL
(NEC/Executive Records/AWF) S3RLCORE - Brisbane, AU
S3RL has been writing, producing and pushing out his own tracks since the year 2000, and before actually being discovered
and able to entert- ain us with his happy hardcore anthems, he's been knee deep in the rave scene, cutting loose and
churning it up with the ravers, as a raver. S3RL clenched his first break at the end of 2005. He had demo CD's loaded up and
ready to pop out, and when Kevin Energy and Sharkey came down under, S3RL dropped one on them. Weeks later, Kevin Energy
got back to S3RL with a contract to sign and release his track 'Transformers' on to vinyl under the NuEnergy Collective (NEC)
label, 'Relentless' Making him the 1st DJ in Queensland to be signed to a major Hardcore label. It wasn't until 2006, when
S3RL had his first vinyl released and more on their way, that he started actually learning to mix and first excreted on to
the DJ scene. S3RL made his first actual splash as a DJ at the end of 2006, squished into a steaming lineup, piled up with
names such as Kevin Energy, Brisk, Sharkey, Scott Brown and Neophyte. Since then, S3RL has layed foundations with numerous
more tracks signed to NEC and also sliding his way down from Brisbane into the Sydney label Executive Records,
relieving himself of even more rim shattering musical nuggets. All this while playing regularly at hardcore events and
keeping true to his raver roots, raving the nights away when he's not flushing out his sound behind the decks.
