I don't supose anyone knows the name of this stereotype or tribe you could call them, they are not Gabbers.... they live in the UK, and the reason i posted this is cause some people assiciate this tribe with hardcore music...
here's a discription:
mostly wander at night
tracksuit, nike, addidas etc
tuck trousers in to their white socks
baseball cap very high at the front end
funny walk with their arms out wide
shaved heads and big earings
shouting "Oy" and "you gonna fight about it boy??!"
who are these modern stereotypes and why are they so into hardcore music?

Hmmmm, round our way we have a few names for these people:
Scallies (www.scallycentral.com)
Townies (The more "traditional" name for them)
Knobs (the more descriptive name for them LOL)
As for why they are so into hardcore music I don't really know

im sorta one of em ,but i dont go round battering every one and tuck my socks in like an idiot ,up here their called ned's ,chav's townies etc , mos of em r knobs n just go looking for trouble

do they wear burbery hats?! it just dont fully fit the stereotype for me unless they got the burbery hats too!!! and they need to be pretty skinny to - and if they feel it necessary a fat chain or two will go down nicely... he he he he
they r typical scouser stereotypes - but most places will have lads fitting into this. i dont reckon they classify as gypsies (i live in an area of South Wales wheres there a large percentage of the population who are either fair gypsies, now housed gypsies or plain caravan gypsies) and they r MUCH scarier than them blimmin scallies!!! and i dont reckon they quite make it as townies anymore... more 'on-the-edge-of-townies'!!
