Maybe you were just unlucky.

ANybody wanna donate some cash to the "Turntables for Gav fund?" ~ If you don't, you could be to blame for the demise of happy hardcore!

^^^ Yeah, I was expecting vinyl too. But no -- hence the disillusionment! I guess I was unlucky ... I'll just have to wait for him to grace Sydney again.

Curiouser and curiouser ...

i dont know who he was, but i can tell you, he looked scary as f&*% and he had teeth missing. he was from amsterdam. (does anyone know who im talking about if so please message me!). he was using 4 YES 4 turntables. i asked my teacher in acoustics why some d.j.'s do that and he said usually because records are mono, some d.j.'s will use more tables and put 2 of each record on so that the music is played in surround sound and seems to have a "reverb" effect, too, which it did! he f&^%ing kicked A$$!!! he was spinning something that sounded like someone sampled a person making a growling noise and then slowed down really slow, then they turned it into a beat...very insane. and it sounded like it was bouncing around all the different speakers. he knew i was wasted i tell you! he was in my head! god that guy kicked a$$.... i wish i could remember who he was:*(
