I dont know if anybody els had this problem but i was at slammin at about 8.45 and wasnt in the event till 12.05 missing midnight.
Fair enough a long wait was expected but i gota say whoever organised that part got it totally wrong and put alot of people in potential danger. 1 turnstile for 8000 ravers??? what were they thinkin?
We were in the enterence when the fences were smashed down and people let themselves in, i dont blame the people who did it, it was gona happen. I missed the countdoun cuz of those people but the organisers were realy to blame. I suppose the only positive thing was that nobody (i dont think) was hurt in the rush.
On the bright side i got in at the start of SB's set which was class and had a buzzin night thereafter to make amends.

since posting the abovei have read posts on er.. other websites to see that nearly every1 had this problem.
Slammin Vinyl, you are an utter discrace and im still gona go to the next 1 which is why you will always be a discrace because we all love hardcore and wana see it on the biggest stage so we will always attend.
Thanx to the djs n mcs for making the trip ant the £250.00 the four of us paid on tickets and travel worthwile because the event was a shambles.
How can u attract ravers to a shithole of a site with shit security...you wankers!

I can't beleive they only had one turnstyle!
who's fault was it? Slammin's or the sanctuary?
Apologies to yourself and other ravers.. I was one of the people who went over the fence. I hope we didn't spoil your night to much.

i got there for 6 and still had to wait over 3 and 1/2 hours!
every slammin event i've been to the ticket seems to say they start at 1 time and they don't lett anyone one in till an hour later or more...
slammin come on man, whats that all about?

im so glad i got there early enough, i was there at 7:30 and still didnt make it in untill 10pm. if i'd missed midnight i would be livid. i think the event was great but that que was just insane, it was too cold to make people wait like that, i saw two people being helped by paramedics..... how do you expect people do dance safe all night if they're caning all they're energy trying to stay alive long enough to get inside!?

i saw a mini riot as well...... someone inside opened a fire escape and 10/15 people from the que ran through before the bouncers managed to seal it off! and that was at about 8pm.... must have got crazy later on....

lol, yeh i saw that, saw some security shout 'security to fastrack now!' not suprising that happened really, if i was one of the unlucky ones still out there just b4 midnight or even after, i would tried to find another way in :)
Security at the sanctuary take the piss, do they just hate us ravers? :(
the people running the cloakroom lost one of me mates coats, he went home in just a t-shirt, in the back of a pick-up, @cold :(

Agreed, it was way too much money to expect people to stand on line like that. Normally I'm a very calm and respectful person, but if I would have been stuck out there at midnight I would have rushed the gate, and I hate to say this, especially since they cut right in front of me, but I really don't blame the people who rushed in. 3 hours is completely unacceptable, I don't know if I'm going to go to anymore of their events. Hopefully someone from Slammin' is reading how upset everyone is over this and they can fix it in the future.

£37.00 + bf = £42.50 per ticket + any travel. For that price i paid to see SB, dougal, styles, kev nrg, ice & reality (sheer class) and a very poor topgroove (left topgroove after bout 30mins).
thats neaarly a tenner a set.
Respect required to oddesy though, he was way better than id seen him b4 and made smiley look a bit silly but no whizzkid 4me though :(.
