lol. Well you gotta' good point there, that's for sure. There would hardly be anyone at raves. I really don't mind drugs users and I think people should be able to do whatever they want at raves so long as it doesn't interfear majorly with someone elses fun. The only problem I had was with people distracting from the music  I mean, they were even trying to get notice from Dougal while he was spinning, like trying to get Smiley to go over and get him. A bit tackless if you know how much concentration DJing in front of 1000s of people is. It's their perogative though.
I'm glad you don't hate me. Even though you may think I'm some sort of Raver-Nazi, I promise you that I'm not This is just one little pet peeve of mine, and I can't shake it.

Was it a certain group of people who were doing it? sound like you have a grudge with a certain group of people.
Refrence to an earlier point you made about shout outs in the jungle room.. yes it does happen but not so much as Jungle mc's do back2back sets and such and when they get on the mic they seem to want to preform and not do shouts
sorry but some of the mc's in the hardcore scene are only good enough to do shout outs. just my opinion of course.

So true mate:) We got our first shout at Vibealite n after that we were proper buzzing n then we bought the tapes n herd it and from then Whizzkid became a god in our eyes lol :D:D Even if he did call my mate Eddy. Elle:) Does give u a rush it's like a stand up comnedian if he ignores da crowd n dont interact its gonna b shit, but wiv a bit of crowd interaction its ace

Midway & Molesey: Nah, not singling out one group or crew, just the people that are way too persistant. I really wouldn't have minded it so much if there weren't so many people that were just set on getting their shout. I believe the MC should interact with the crowd, but should also be there to perform. Good to hear about jungle MCs wanting to perform and not do shouts, but I think hardcore MCs feel the same way. I wonder what Storm thinks of all these people bothering him, from his face it seemed that they were really getting on his last nerve. In fact, I saw one kid talk to him and I guess he told him his friend was messed up and Storm just got annoyed on the mic and said something to the extent of "Sorry, I can't control what people do to themselves." This should tell you a little about how he feels about the whole matter. The "kids" just looked at each other like Storm was an *******, but I think he just wants them to grow up.

When i 1st read this post i was in quite a stress about the q at slammin and as my mate had a shout and we had been at the front of the stage i thought some of your rant was aimed in some way towards us, but after thinkin about it i saw the same piece of paper held up many times by the same person trying to get the same shout, that would bother me if i were mcin but as a raver i doesent so i suppose i can see ur point.
Ive seen mcs take the paper the shout is written on and tear it up before if it was a repeted shout.
Although i couldnt give a sh*t sometimes if people bother storm, the man brings it on himself. I dont know him in any way and u have to respect his ability and before a started ravin he was an god to me n my mates but i find him (and i could be wrong) to be pompus and big headed, what sort of mc stands above a croud arms apart like jesus on the cross eyes closed shoutin "big me ravers, big me". That brings me down bigtime.

Ah man, I see what you're saying, but Storm gives respect to each and every one of us too 
I really believe he has love for this scene and all the people involved in any way, even if he doesn't always show it to us.

local MC at hardcore events does shout outs to the same crew everytime, every week......the fact that there all friends makes it lame
giving shout outs isnt that bad really, I mean a mc wasting 10secs isnt that bad, when ur dancing 7hours or so. esp if ur drugged or drunk.....just ignore the mc and enjoy the music

Oh yeah, and the whole Storm doing his Jesus "big me ravers" thing, that just has to make you laugh your ass off man! I know I find it quite hilarious for the most part. Still though, respect to hardcore's #1 MC.

should take big signs 2 raves readin SHOUT 2 CANDYASS in big letters.
