Hi all!,
i missed out on the hardcore scene(delibratly mind you) between 99' and 02' and i want too know when did 'hardcore trance'( as far as i know thats correct) start!?, just personally i prefer that style too strict hardcore,i think it carries the style of hardcore more(much more), i think that these three labels concentrate more on hardcore trance than the other hardcore labels...

I think you need to take a look at Raver baby, Evolution etc.
Im not so sure that the Elation , Next generation sounds is anywhere near as trancey as most labels out there now. As for when did it start. Probably around the end of 2001 beginning 2002. Thats when tunes like Angel, Future set , etc. were being played

Not trying to be picky, nor to say that I am right. But i hate when people use that genre name, as it sounds like its a subgenre of trance. I prefer to use "trancy hardcore"

well yes, but happyhardcore(as it was known!)was changed too just hardcore so i presume now there are two hardcore geners here,hardcore breakbeat and hardcore trance...
evolution does have a trancey feel too it,but its 'northern' meaning more bouncy orientated,not trancey,just more bouncy...big difference
if anyone else could nominate hardcore trance labels that that would help a lot thx...

p.s. so we have three different catorgories of what we're dealing with
breakbeat hardcore bouncy hardcore hardcore trance
i hope that they are kept seperate too each other too completly satisfy fans and the like..

To be honest its all just hardcore. And you can mix em all up together.
Theres no point in dividing it into different catagories.
