Scott Brown! He's the guy responsible for getting me ADDICTED to Hardcore in the first place. It all started back when (free) Napster was in it's hayday. I downloaded (sorry Silver! ) a song called Lost Generation (did a search for rave music).....after another search I found it to be on the Happy2bHardcore series. Happy2bHardcore 5 was my first happy Hardcore compilation cd. Since then I went ahead and bought all the H2bH cds. I also have to give respect to Anabolic Frolic (2nd fave dj) for getting me into djing, after studying all his cds and figuring out how he blends the music. This all happened before I learned about the Bonkers series but thats another story. See! Silver....all it took was one download of one mp3 and 5 years later I've prolly spent enough on hardcore to buy my girlfriend a really nice engagement ring.......I hope she doesn't get wind of that

WANTED!
more hardcore in Kansas City

Darren Styles... He is God! I love his Styles... (lol) He does Bangin' Anthems, with a few Euphoric ones too, and the occasional Old Skool. Especially when teamed up with Breeze, and sometimes Hixxy, he's da best!!!

How can you beat these tunes?
Breeze & Styles - Sonic, Future Shining, The Beat Kicks, Total XTC, Drop the Beats, The Craft...
Hixxy & Styles - Rushins, Takin' Over Me...

Check Out the Sound, Hardcore 'Till I Die!

I like the style that he plays, way it goes from happy hardcore to harder stuff/gabber
His style is different to all the other DJ's iv heard and it makes him, well him
I use to hold Hixxy in my heart as best hardcore DJ but after Bonkers XI, Scott stole that place :)

DNA has long been my favorite of all time. Some of his stuff is absolutly gold. Virus has one of a few copys of a song that never made it to print, and its choice. People slag what they do not understand. If you want to critisize someone for being different then you have no room to talk. Electronic music isnt about being the same, its about being different and pishing the limits. Evolution as it might be.

I'd say Kevin Energy is the best hardcore dj, his technical ability is amazing , he can scratch really good, not quite as good as sy but he is far better than anyone else out there with the use of special effects such as filtering. Combine that with with the way he structures his sets, i.e 150-180bpm starting with harder than hard trance and ending with crazy freeform, and you are left with a very good dj.

I'd say that Sy and Unknown (unknown often doesn't get enough credit when they both play back to back sets) are a close second, Sy's scratching is equal to that of DJ Hype, if not better. And Hype was a European DMC Champion back in the day. He is also equally as good with his old skool sets as his modern day sets. And I've always wondered does Unknown ever do any of the scratching during back to back mixes?

Third, I would say Sharkey because I really enjoyed his sets on the bonkers series, and he plays a good variety from breakbeat hardcore to freeform hardcore , but never plays any cheese! (i apologise to all fans of cheese out there.)

Unknown is a VERY good scratcher up there wiv Sy i'd say.

My Fave DJ is probably Scott Brown, no one can really compete with the quality of teh tunes he produces/plays. On technical ability though id probably go wiv Brisk or Sy.

You will not laugh, You will not cry, You will learn by the numbers!
