i was doin a house part last nite an i was plyin hardcore an half the crowd where booing ang the other half cheerin i started scratchin an that went ok gotta bit o credit 4that
but the point is the croud booing got to me an made me upset(me being a man dint show it)
i just wanted to packit in n sell the decks there n then
Plz help me ppl wot should i do

You can keep going, I mean you don't need to look far for a good role-model, DJ Nateking went through a hell-hole at one event he played, but he kept going  .

If you have House friend that doesnt like Hardcore, ask what hardcore tunes they like (there must be some), that way you know what tunes to play in a similar situation :) But dont play anything you dont like, coz if they dont understand about good music it shouldnt be your problem ;)

Remember goin to a club/pub in our town, more of a club than a pub, but shuts at 12 soo.... anyways......he put a scratched cd on and it started skipping, so he stopped the tune, and changed it, all in all there was no music for around 30seconds tops! ppl then decided to boo at him. all he did was look up......turn the music off, got hold of the mike and said "fcuk yas then" and with that packed up and walked off....
You shouldnt boo a dj, as they must be reasonably good to be able to play at a venue, even if its a house party.....i got booed wen i was playing at a mates 18th and i jus carried on going, i dont blame them for booing as i was doing a b2b with my older bro, n when it eventually got round to my set, id already had a hefty amount of drink lol......and thus was arseholed! lol
3 meanings to this story:
1-dont boo djs
2-if ur a dj dont take any shit from the crowd, your the one in control
and
3-dont get pissed if ur djing!

I'm sure alot of the great hardcore djs have some stories of twats booing them at parties when they first started comin' up. Be persistent, man....and if you're old enough......get a couple beers inside you......just enough blow off all the twats but not too much that you're incoherent on the decks. I was the only Hardcore Dj at a house party one time and half the crowd either booed or walked away....I was relaxed enough not to let it bother me.....but when I saw the twats that booed me.....I put on my big cheese-eatin' grin and flipped 'em off and continued with my set. I guess you pretty much have to expect stuff like that unless your playing at an all-Happy Hardcore party......which I got alot of requests for.

just keep goin, i had a gig a few weeks ago to which i played to a packed out crowd of 10 ppl :S but had to keep playin, bit disappointin, but fortunatly never been boo'd. dont pack it in, keep er lit big lad, as they say over here lol

You neednt worry, im sure wed all boo s club 823666 if they turned up on stage at a hardcore rave (thou i wud like to see that poofy one on pills) what im gettin at is not everyone will like what ur playing but im sure it has nothing to do with HOW you were playing most ppl who r into hardcore will get stick of at least someone about the music - so what if we were all the same itd b boring..... anywho im tokin shyte cus im stoned but yeah, carry on and as someone said - kill em if they do it again (sniper rifle in the record bag shud do the job honey)

Yeah its true that not everone is going to like what you play but that does not give them the right to boo. I think thats disgusting to booo at a dj. There up there trying there best, prooly nervous, and hoping to please the crowd and to be boo'd would absolutly crush you.
I realise how hard it would be to not want to keep going but you have to. All the others, who are still dancing, and not being pricks are enjoying it remember, and you can judge the crowd...if theres alot of ppl stomping cool...if ther starting to sit down, well change the pace!
so just remember that you cant please evreyone all of the time,(i was a hairdresser so i should know this motto) and the ppl booing you are pricks so who cares what they think. When they respect you, enuff to just take a back seat and wait for there(not so fav tracks to end) then you can respect them.
Keep up the good work mate! dont give up your passoin!
