the past few days has really been an eye opener for me. So at school, i've had my phone a good 5 days or something, and it nearly gets robbed off me by this crew whilst waiting for the bus. how retarded.
second, me and my friends have had a warning from the police in the post. apparently, if we cause any more 'trouble' we're all going to be arrested. The funny thing is, we cause next to no trouble - we drink underage, but we're all 14-18 anyways, and we dont do anything else wrong. So we're up playing football up by my old school, and the ball goes over. This old woman phones the police because the balls gone over and we hopped the fence to get it. Man, that's really sad. As soon as i can i'm going to live in Greece or somewhere or a small town like Devon. I've fuhcking had enough of birmingham.

sounds harsh mate, i've got a mate that just started uni at birmingham.... dont think he's very impressed. apparently in his first week there he went to get some money out and the cash point had blood all over it  kinda sums it up really. only problem with goin somewhere smaller is u'll lose any local hardcore u get in the bigger cities.

Ive never really liked birmingam. I like Cloucester and Northampton a lot more round there

I used to live in brum, its a top place! theres loads to do 100's of bars, lots of all nighters (lack of hardcore though since human traffic stopped....) including the mighty flashback (crosses fingers for more).
It really has got a lot better in the last couple of years, the city centre is excellent. Wicked shopping!
Northamptons very dull in comparrisson....

Ok i come from australia and if i liven in bermingham i would be ****ED!!!! i have no issue bout goin into anyones yard to get a ball (ceopt i they got a mother bitch dog) I got hasseled at school yes but never to the point where i feard getting shit taken off me...
I am starting to think that my working holliday OS might be short....you guys are not the first to make me think that, Dj Chosen few told us that he had never felt more welcome,, had so much done for him or met more friendly hosspitable people....when i talked to my mate about it (he was the one that toured him) we both agreeded that we didn't do that much at all for them just did what we would expect ddone for us and that made the both of us think twice bout living over seas...
Come to Aussie land dood, Candy Ass is dead keen to come to :) and trust me chosen few will be in the future if there is anyway he can beside there are enuf poms here so u wont get home sick and yeah we have some deciend parties too.

Hell aussies are really nice friendly ppl compaered to the english . Im a pom, moved here 10 years ago when i was 14(jesssuussss how time flys)from hertfordshire.(stevenage) I do miss england and have been home once but as for different culture, hell yes its different. I mean if the shop keeper started talking to you(in england) and asking if you had a nice day and how r u, english would not know what was going on abd think you were taking the piss or something. heheheh.....oz culture is extremley friendly. As for birm, never been there!

Yeah, it's very unfortunate that so many peolpe here are not willing to be more social. I 'm not like any of those people at all though fortunately, and wish people over here would be more sociable and freindly like in the USA and AUS :)

I don't think Birmingham's too bad, even with that monstrosity of a selfridges store. You wanna try coming to Bochum in Germany where I'm currently studying, now this place is DULL!

No they are still friendly, you just gotta watch yourself abit more than you would in oz i guess! Just think about what your saying first, and just be yourself and smile....as long as your not being smart or saying quotes they wont get youll be fine. hehehe
Anyways its certain areas(of any country really) that you just have to realise is abit touchy and have attitude than other places. England truly is a cool place,......... in the right areas!
