One of his biggest bonuses apart from the fact he has a great vocal range, is that you can honestly hear the effort, and passion he puts into the songs. And I think that's so important a great example of course is the amazing world war 1 epic "Paschendale", now that's passion!
And the words are as always SO well written, and historically accurate.

I mean I really havent heard the new album, but he did some songs at Download Festival last year and they were totally off the hook. What a weekend that was as well.

I too am gonna have to see them again soon, there just that damn good! The new album "Dance Of Death" is amazing one of their best, every song on it is so well written and composed. But like you said they have been going SO long, and have influenced pretty much every other band in the genre, they will always be the first truely great metal band in my eyes. I can't believe that after so many years they can still churn out top quality stuff, and Bruce's voice hasn't deteriorated in the slightest!

I tell you, the Slipknot DJ is actually quite ****ing heavy. He even played @ a MOD event. Yeh everyone is to their own and I think they are a great band.
