you only live once and if you cant have fun whats the point??

So basically what you're saying is that if someone wants to wreck their life, let them do it?

how will any of those things..well maybe coke wreck your life? and yeah if someone wants to go buzzen then ****ing let them

Not exactly what I meant. If you want to take drugs go right ahead, just don't get caught by the coppers. My point was that... hrm...

To be honest I think I misinterpreted your post. Sorry about that.

There is a better one but i'm not going to mention it here. The less exposure the better.

The drug is not to blame. People's live are their own respnosibility, you can't just go around blaming other things or other people. People don't die from taking drugs (apart from rare exceptions that has nothing to do with the drug itself), people die from taking them irresponsibly. No one forces these people to take drugs.

True, but there are types of drugs that have a larger percentage chance of harming someone, then not. Anything from body weight, diet all the way to genetics could make a drug harmful, or not, to someone. I agree you take the risk of harm by taking anything, drug or not, honestly. But drugs themselves as a whole affect the body in a large number of ways, and depending on what it is, it could have a larger chance at harming someone rather than just getting a high. Lesson learned? Don't take drugs period if you don't want to deal with the risks, it's just common sense. Sad for the loss though.

Yeah there is many factors involved and taking the risk is part of the responsibility. Not being able to foresee a potential problem isn't an excuse.

thats a pretty thin line you're playing on. Tobacco smoke kills many people in all sorts of ways. Is it a harmful drug? Did they die from smoking to much (ie. taking drugs), or smoking to much (irresponsibility)? Or heroin overdose: did the drug kill them, or was it lack of care during administration? It was both, you can't have one without the other.

"(apart from rare exceptions that has nothing to do with the drug itself)" sometimes people will just react to a drug in no way that anyone could predict or had any reason to expect. They may have taken all the safest precautions, but there were still variables out of their control and suddenly they're a stiff. Is that the fault of the drug (arguably) or fault of the user (i think much harder to argue in this case).

I see what you're getting at though, there is just another side of the coin that you've completely ignored.

Literally speaking yes the drug does kill them, although i assumed that that would have gone without saying. There is nothing about the drug though that forces them to take it though, so given that, it cannot be blamed. And i agreed with you on the second part, yes, this can happen, but being aware of the possibility is part of your responsibility also. If the drug was meant to be safe it would be different of course, but it's not.
