...Your looking around your attic, Find a box of casette tapes, Put one on and it's the dogs bollox....only to find you have absolutely no idea who the DJ is....where you got the original...nada. And it's a proper pumping tape too....Nice bit of rave all the same...can only assume it's early 90's. Oh the joys!!!

Done that myself plenty of times! Even more frustrating for me recently has been listening to some of MY OWN old mixes and not being able to remember half of the tunes in them!

Finding the music wasn't the part I hate - It's trying to find the names of the tunes;
Starts off with a prayer then slides effortlessly into full on rave - Only a few of the tunes I know off, and my feeble attempts at using shazam to find the rest have came...not surprisingly...to nothing. It ends with 'Bagpipe anthem' with a sweet bit of scratching over the top of it...beautiful track selection and mixing.

If you didn't find the tapes then you wouldn't even have any tunes to find the names of :P Still a good thing imo. And i agree with Dopeman, half the fun is finding out.

yea... i had the same fun when i found out that part of the mix (dj liquid- liquify) I was trying to ID tracks from, where ripped of from a Gary.D mix

I feel old when I see the dates on some of them are 12 years ago! But it's mostly the lack of energy and creaky bones that makes me feel old!
