On tuesday i went for an interview at this independently owned light shop up the street from me who are looking for a store manager. Got the interview through a mate that works there and the owner i met loved me - but now i have to meet the OTHER owner so he can sign off on me too. The one i met with was saying it looks really good though and that i'm the preferred candidate.
Just by coincidence, the other owner is apparently really into speakers and audio... I don't want to be cocky and say that it's in the bag, but that's definitely an advantage!
Heaps excited i'll basically be running the show (if i get the job) because both the owners have to commute 2 hours each way to get to the store and they obviously dont wanna have to do that.
so... **** yeah! wish me luck!

Yeah, out of experience, being in charge isn't always fun. Was a supervisor (was basically the manager when the manager wasn't there..), and it's you that has to fix all the problems. But my experience was in a retail store that sold liquor, so maybe it's different.
