Well, as i have been getting inboxed about this a LOT, ive made my views known just now on my facebook...
RIGHT, Re: the whole Sy/Storm Situ, im sick of people inboxing me about it now, so all i will say on the matter is this, and its my last say on it...
I think its time for everyone to take a step back until more official info can come out, coz the arguing and bitching will go on forever otherwise, in 2 days practically every raver has had their say, and there is already a pretty clear for and against whats been posted thing going on, hardcore is a united scene, and should never be a divided one, which is what seems to be starting to happen, and it will make things worse if people keep going off about it, opinions have been aired, and unless the dust is left to settle for a while then it will get worse and not better, in my opinion anyway.
No idea why im getting messaged about it, why the **** peeps think i would know things i dont know, but im sick of the subject!

Seriously hope this is cleared up soon. I'm supposed to be at Htid in Blackpool on Saturday. Sy and storm were both supposed to be there but I'm certain Sy won't be at any raves for the foreseeable future. I wouldn't want to see storm there either as it stands. I sincerely hope that sy's statement is true and that it's no more than that. If so then storm should be castrated for effectively ruining somebody's career and life when this matter should of obviously been dealt with in private. No matter what happens, Sy is always going to be labelled a Paedo by some.
Not taking anyone's side I will wait for hard evidence to come to light. One thing I picked up on though is that in sy's statement he only says that he is not on the sex offenders register (present tense) he doesn't deny that he has ever been on the register. Just makes his statement sound better than it really should

On the whole, Storm has really opened his arsehole nice and wide for raping. Unless it is 100% true, it is defamation plain and simple. He's ruined a guy's career out of it and Sy would be within his rights to drag him the whole ten miles through civil court.

Things like this give me a fucking headache. I hate reading the flood of kneejerk emotional reactions and idle speculation that comes up afterwards.
First off, no-one should be taking sides because neither side has offered any (public) proof that isn't either third-hand anecdotal evidence or pure conjecture. Since, legally, he's innocent until proven guilty it makes sense for us to assume the same philosophy.
Secondly, the people calling for Sy to defend himself are being naive. Anyone with any intelligence in that situation, whether guilty or not, is going to consult legal advice, talk to the relevant people and/or get their own defence together (and destroy evidence/cover their trail if guilty) long before they speak out publicly. His silence isn't an admission of guilt. In fact, it's nothing but to be expected. Personally, if it was me, I'm not even sure I would've gone as far as posting the statement he did but I expect he felt he absolutely had to sow the seeds of his defence if he was going to have any chance of coming out looking okay.
Finally, there's no point trying to make a judgement based on either side's "he said"/"she said" speculation. Not only because it isn't anything like evidence but also because both sides' stories make almost no sense:
Why would Squad-E keep this to himself for a year before coming out with it? (presupposing it's true that he knew)
Why would anyone trust the statements someone makes about their ex?
Who would be stupid enough to let their girlfriend find out that they were wanking over underage girls?
Why would the police contact Storm to give him information (and not the other way round)?
On the flipside:
Why would the police be tracking videos of topless 16-year-old girls as if they haven't got, y'know, real paedophiles to catch?
How could someone with an interest in jailbait not be aware of the basic local pornography laws?
Why would anyone be cautioned for non-nude modelling? (except in this bizarre parallel universe where the police show up at your door because you watched a few videos of girls old enough to have sex getting their tits out)
Why would 23 years of mixing and production help proclaim his innocence in this situation?
I'm not looking for the answers to any of those questions, merely pointing out that questions are there and that neither side is really making any sense.
