Good question.
the commercial issue has been mentioned a few times, and I'm sure it will rage on and on. You can't sell lots of records, get more people in on the scene, without being successful and going commercial. They come hand in hand.
As for TTD on a CD, yes it will be very soon. Can't say more than that but it will feature on a new compilation in the new year. No it won't be on the Mixmag CD, they never asked for it, sorry.
This is the ONLY CD Compilation that will feature TTD for the time being, however, I've been asked to resurrect Bang! and release TTD as a full CD single, but to do this, it will have to have hardcore, and more commercial mixes on there, so I'll open a debate on that soon here on HH.com see what you guys think. Don't make an opinion just yet, wait until I put my case before you decide.
I'd like to see hardcore in the mainstream personally, I'm sick of people in the industry looking down their noses at it.
Cheers guys,
Nick.

hey we shouldnt forget one thing. Happy hardcore is so powerful that trance producers are re using existing happy hardcore to make trance.
happy hardcore/hardcore started the rave scene and nothing will ever be able to replace it.
its just a shame it aint commerical although if it was, the listeners and patrons at raves wouldnt be as special/important.

Well, if we're talking the global scene then we're probably looking at acid-house and stuff that started it, but yeah HHC was there when the scene really exploded ... and if you're looking at the Australian scene then it was definitely HHC that kicked it into gear.
*EDIT*
I haven't set foot in a newsagency for a while, so can anyone tell me if mixmag makes its way to Australia? Just in case it doesn't, can you get it online order or something?
