Watching Chris Harris this morning he says it's very hot over there. 30C. And fair enough, you're just coming out of peak summer. Seasonal lag and all that.
We are just coming out of peak winter. Arguably some countries would still consider this winter. A week of mid-high 20's and 33C two days ago.

When it comes to hot weather, the UK is made up of whiney little shits lol. You don't even know what a real heatwave is. We've had at least 2 days of hitting 42C here in Houston this year, and add 80+% of humidity it is just smoldering. We average 36 in the summer, even with a little overcast. Hell, we see 30+C temperatures from March to November haha.

And that is why I will *never* move to texas! I've seen UK friends who are sad to be wearing coats again. Here in Buffalo it's was ~30 and humid today, but going to drop a bit tonight. It'll be snowing soon enough though, so I'm enjoying this while I can!

judging from my facebook feeds, no one bitches more about the weather than you brits! Rain or shine, summer, fall or winter, it's whine whine whine for you people :p
And it actually gets hot enough here for the need of an A/C, unlike over there. And personally for me it's not even the heat that gets to me, it is the humidity that makes it all worse. I remember my days in Madrid averaged 36, yet to me it felt amazing considering there was no humidity to accompany it. Loved the dry heat.

Yea we get snow like about one day out of the year, if we're lucky. And it's bitch snow that is all melted by mid-morning. I will definitely say we bitch about cold weather a bit too easily, but honestly y'all should be used to it by now yet y'all still probably bitch more than we do!
And personally I love snow too, it's a shame it never snowed during my stay in Toronto would have loved to see it! :)

Yeah, I really enjoyed Las Vegas baking in 40?C, but hated 25?C being in the Everglades. Humidity kills everything!
