Speaking of Don Henley, has anyone heard the pop trance version, it's mashed a classic! I always thought it'd be better as a hardcore song.
Oh if i had to remix anything it would be Ben E King - Stand by me, i can hear the rave version in my head, getting it out is a different story.

I would HAVE to remix:
Maralyn Manson - Tainted Love (I've half got it in my head already)
That song "You gotta fight! for your right to...HARDCORE!" (that'd be my version)
And I wus gonna say Hampster Dance but I wus beat to it.
OH! and Popcorn! I'd LOVE to try a remix of that! It's so cheesy, it begs for it!!!

Popcorn and Tainted Love have been done, Popcorn is Ravers Choice 4 and Tainted Love is on Legendary (done by Hixxy & UFO).
The Popcorn rip is wicked imo :)

On the topic of rips/remixes, how are they usually done?
like cutting the original into sample loops and chucking "boom boom boom boom" behind them, or by actually laying into a tracker/synth the whole tune from start?
I've heard a couple of tracks off Kazaa "scooter - genie in the bottle" or something... which did NOT sound like scooter btw... and it sounded very lame!

I've heard em, but I want to do my own versions...better than those, i've got a different version of popcorn as my message alert on my phone that I did myself. You can tell its popcorn but its WAY funkier!!
