I got some .wav files they are obviously stereo sound but i want to convert them into a mono format, wot program could i download that will do it?

soundforge or wavelab.
soundforge: where it displays the attributes in the bottom right corner (44,100 hz 16 bit stereo) double click there and the option to convert to mono is there.
wavelab 4: just open the wave and save as. the option to convert to mono is there
