I dont, Pioneer all my life so far....almost 19 years...and have never drank once....been out to many raves and LOVED IT!!!! Ive never drank, smoked or done drugs.....But its everyone to themselves, everyones different:
IMO anyway...

good on you mustapha, im nearly 14 and im hooked onto a drink called absinthe (pronounced 'absidine') its 70% volume and its a spirit. your smell can decieve you, it tastes nothing like it smells and the first time i ever drank it i had a sore throat for hours and i spent all the time drinking milk to get rid of the burning feeling, next time i have some ill remember not to drink half the bottle :/

cool how much did you try, i wouldnt recommened anyone to try and get drunk on it and drink most of the bottle without another drink, like what i did apart from i had loads of milk after i couldnt stand the burning any more, that experience will live with me for a very very long time, im used to it nowand i can pretty much drink it like anything else because ive had an awful lot

The thing with Absinthe is that the extraordinarily high alcohol content (>80% in some cases) isn't there to get you drunk, but to ensure that the liquid is a potent-enough solvent to draw out the hallucinogenic oil from the wormwood that it's aged in.
There's one legal variety here in Aus that has a wormwood oil content of 0-10% (which is why it's legal), but the stuff that people were having back in the 70's had 30% or more. If you can get your hands on the good stuff then you're in for a very interesting experience.

Yes..Alcohole is an essential for a fun nite. Although I find I enjoy the music more if im not mashed/smashed.
