No doubt been posted before but the topic was locked so I couldn't post.
http://www.toshiba-emi.co.jp/dancemania/ click on discography for a complete listing of all these compilations and you'llsee the "Speed" series down the list. Speed 1 pressed over 250,000 units, so these are/were a big deal in Japan. I think Silver should maybe sell a few copies on here, they might do well. You can buy some on Amazon.com (NOT .co.uk), but they're quite expensive. I bought about 6 and it came to over $200 what with import taxes etc. anuhoo, enjoy! tata Nick.

I have a problem with this though.
Look how Speed 1 has alot of cheese and old good stuff! Then, as the series progresses, you get ALOT of that wannabe eurobeat stuff. It started as happy hardcore, then turned into that.
My favorites have to be Speed 4 and Speed 6 though. 6 has one of my favorite Kambel tunes.
The reason I actually knew about this awhile ago, was because I play Dance Dance Revolution and they get their songs from either artists at Konami or on the dancemania series. I'm so glad Saint Goes Marching got on there! That track is so cheddar!
I like DJ Evil's series. Happy Ravers and Trance Ravers. I own Trance ravers, and now since I've started DJing, I almost own every track on that cd except a few old Nu Energy ones. But I was so lucky when I bought it! It happened to be 30% off all import cd's. This was around christmas of last year.
But I highly suggest any of the old speed series. Although they're lengths of songs are like 2:40 max, it's still alot of fun.

Wow. It also looks like they updated the news page. My friend told me a month ago, DJ Evil was making a Best of Hardcore album. Gonna be interesting.
What cd is that on? I know one of the Time's are by Sound Assasins. But Intercord jp does make alot of typos.

Toshiba has exclusives on all those tracks in Japan so I don't think there is anything here that is not on other hardcore speed albums, but interesting none the less. I actually did not know this was coming out... Toshiba EMI don't like me for some reason... perhaps because I am not Japanese hahaha...
