As of September this year we will be relocating the SSU Recordings Studio to the UK. We have been at the forefront of the USA Hardcore scene for the past 7 years and have been key players in the introduction and momentum of Northern California Hardcore. We feel that we have progressed as far as we can as an organization in the USA and the only way to take the next step up into the next chapter of SSU Recordings is to move to the heart of the industry. Once the move is completed we will be concentrating 100% on developing our sound and labels. As of the beginning of October the studio will also be made available to clients of the public for hire. Don't panic to much peeps the online store(www.subsonicstore.com) will remain open but under new managment. I will fill you in more as it develops. I know this has come as a bit of a shock to lots of people but We have been thinking about moving for a while. I would like to be a full time engineer and unless I want to write House music and foo foo Trance then it's not going to happen here in the USA. I have given USA Hardcore my heart and soul for the past 7 years and we have achived a lot! Shit people did not even know what Hardcore was when I first arrived in Nor Cal!! Over the years we have debuted almost every top artist there is including Scott Brown, Robbie Long, Devastate, Sharkey, Energy, Jon Doe, Ethos, Dair, Hixxy, Force & Styles, Fade, Vinylgroover, DNA, Lostboy, Nimh, Dj Dummy, Paulina Taylor, Starr, MC Charlie B, MC Storm, MC Stylee, MC ADB & MC Verbal. I will be sad to leave but we feel we are going round and round in circles here. I will be back in the states regular as I have bookings out here. So they won't be getting rid of me that easy! Plus just focusing on my music and labels full time I will be a bigger asset to the scene. I have a bunch of Records I will be clearing out over the coming months.
