Yeh, I've got Rave, Dance 2, and Ibiza Summer Sessions. Rave is good but its a bit old now and uses mainly dark samples than the happy sounds. Ibiza is good, a lot newer and better for producing tracks, uses a lot of slower Trance though but worth £25.

Is it even possible to talk about "producing" tracks with E-Jay?

Well, not sure, if you think about it, its just like talking about a ringtone that you have composed on your mobile phone, just a different format. Do you think it is wrong to talk about self created ringtones?
Anyway, i'm not sure, but if it is wrong then it is a mistake.

I used to have tunes, recorded them to MD, coz i formated my hard disk...
In one tune theres "vocals" from some porn clips , not any nasty samples but some horny ones... the only tune my ex girlfriend liked
And like Stylus sayd on the first post, its a game, if it was by EA the name would be Sim music...

You's all welcome to have a listen to a track I made for a laff a few years ago in Dance Ejay 2. Was bored one day so decided to make a tune with Worms samples in it! PPl quite liked the thing, mainly for the comedy element! I was gonna do a remix, but I think I have better things to do!
Heres da link:
http://djoverdose.8bit.co.uk/mp3/Worms.mp3 Let me know what ya think! Can't stand bloody Ejay now. Just use the odd sample from their disks now! Mostly harmless...

the song is ok, but as for you not having much time, you seem to have had enough time to convert it into an mp3 file and then upload it to the net [wink]

'Ejay' and 'Pretty damn good' don't get used in the same sentence unless the sentence is 'it's a pretty damn good thing you don't use Ejay to make your tracks.'

Who upset you this morning?!
Getting back to the point...
IMO Ejay is just a program to play about with the principles of making tunes, where other more expensive programs are for really making tunes.
Nothing wrong with Ejay as such, just that I doubt any serious producers would use it to make a tune, especially if they wanted to release it.
