Next year im startin collage and doin Music Tech which is all about Music Production, i no a few very basic things about it but need to get a head start for wen i go to collage, could any give me links or advice so i can get my self started in Music production????

when you say music production do you mean recording, creating digitally through computers or getting your stuff heard??
I go to a college in carshalton in the UK and am currently just finishing off a multimedia course in which music production and recording were a factor.. Let me know if i can help mate, only too happy to

do you know what software you are using by any chance and have you had any experience with music creation before?
The trick is, after kinda sussing out the software package (which unfortunately will usually take a while unless you are fully commited and willing to learn), just go into the room on your own when you can and just try and create from your heart.. Usually helps after listening to some great inspirating HHC!! Any one can create decent choon you have really just gotta practise..

the only softwear iv used is Cubass SX and fruity loops, iv been told Cubass is a whole lot better and thats wot iv had the most experince on, but that stil is only the very basics, at collage il b useing Cubass (not SX the one down from that one) so il find out there i was jus wodnerin if there was a link that i could use that wil get me off to a start that noone else has ???? i supose i could say iv had a bit of exerince with music producing with a playstaion game(music 2000) lol that has the producing bit init, and iw as quite gud at that lol :D:D:D:D but i bet its a lot harder and a loter better than 'music 2000' stil betta than nowt!!!!

so yeah you have had a little experience with production but bare in mind that Music 2000, pretty much does everything for you!!
Cubase in easy to pick up but like i said you do have to work fairly hard to get a decent finished article
