Two days before my 29 birthday our flat was robbed.
I have since lost a phone, a PS2,
and most importantly around 450 cds. I am depressed to say the least.
I could really do with cheering up.
I have lost all my hardcore collection, all my jungle not to mention just about
every other style of music.
I don't know what to do
help guys 8-(

I am sure you can ID most of the CD's for example I am sure some of the CD cases were scratch or broken. Report it to the police then check out all the second hand CD stores you might get lucky.

Same thing happened to me two years back except it was all my vinyl... three full crates (as well as my monitor speakers.) I know it can be quite a bitch, to say the least. Point is, he was caught and I got back all my records, minus a few which were sold (I replaced those.)

what ****ing **** did that?? ffs thats so out of order its untrue ya might be able to claim it back on the insurance m8 but still its the principal of the thing ffs >:(

Oh lord if that happened to me I think i'd go into a mad Frenzy. But really I do feel deeply sorry for you as many of those C.D's were probably deleted from sales, just make sure you report it.

Silver its good advice and i will be checking the second hand stores,
There are only two in my area.
So given they are all in cd bags and I have all the boxes in my cellar,
I am hopefully.
Not gonna hold my breath on insurance but the wife seems to think we will
get some. Which means I can go on a spend, but some as you all know can't be replaced (like the old skool stuff) , it will never quite be the same.
I have even thought, I would put notices up saying they can keep the PS2
If I just get the tunes back. Sh!t they could have all the games (which they didn't take, bloody idiots!!)
Still none of the sound system was touched nor my disco stuff like bubble machine and lights, so I thank the lord for small mercies.
Anyway, I feel a bit better. Mainly down to the support I have had and the sound advice.

I feel for you, I really hope you can get some of the stuff back, especially the non-replaceable oldskool stuff.

Maybe all the HHC.commers could help out. What if we all sent Steve a couple CD's ? We couldn't replace them all, but we could get him a good collection going!

Hey look at the bright side. For the phone, semi anual sales are up in just a week. For the music... I'll help you get back your lost collection in no time 
I'm real sory about your flat though... St Gilles isn't the safest of all neighbourhoods. I never even go there anymore; I only ever used to get mugged or chased with stones.

I can't think of any words to say.
