I would like to know peoples views on this particular MC is he good is he bad ?? my opinion is that he is lyrically talented but... his flow is very poor !!

MC Oddessy, is a brilliant MC knows how to get the vrowd jumping IMO. And his lyrics are pretty damn good

mc oddessy has destroyed alot of my tapes with his filfthy shouting its not good he needs to clean his act up sorry but i'm anti - oddessy!

I think that when he's on form he is an excellent mc,but sometimes he does shout a bit and him repeating himself every 2 minutes can sometimes be annoying.
Despite this though,I think he's a well good mc.

really i'm trying to see where u guys r comin from, hes okay and will probably improve but theres no way hes a wicked mc no way. Storm is a wicked mc so is Whizzkid. ever heard Oddessy tryin to do a Whizzkid rinse? doesnt happen he sounds very silly

I agree with the MC Odyssey has destroyed my tapes comment, i think what he says is often very good, but the way he says it is just terrible, for example i have enjoyed many a tape with Whizzkid and Odyssey and when Whizzkid does the rinse that starts "The gods from above they sent for me...." It sounds brilliant, however the gods unfortunatly for Odyssey did not give him "The voice of a Wicked MC" the gave him the voice of a pre-pubesent teenager screaching down a microphone over the music we all know and love.
Another example of Odyssey sounding awful can be heard by all on the Uplift tape United Dance 8th feb 2003, when he trys to imitate Whizzkid, not once but twice and everytime i hear it i cant help but laugh, he attempts to reproduce the "Send me sweetneess send me sugar send me love" rinse and also trys the "...bad boy lets is roll..." rinse and they are awful and whizzkids does them straight after Odyssey tries and its hilarious.
As you can see from that i am anti-odyssey!!!

I have to agree with flashes comment on Odyssey!! I have many tapes of odyssey and yes he has ruined many of my tapes! But seeing him live is different, i do actually enjoy listening odyssey live but just not on his tapes! He unfortunately doesnt have the voice of a "Wicked MC" Storm and Whizzkid do. He should also keep to his own rinses not Whizzkids, united Dance Feb 03, the uplift tape, he just gets humiliated trying to copy Whizzkid.
What he actually says is fantastic but he just has to sort his voice out, stop screaming and keep the tempo!!!

since picking up the mic i gotta rip it up

no mate its absolute filth, by the way we have agreed that Oddessy sounds alright live, its just on tape packs where the filth is at, evidence has been produced showing Oddessy's awful moments which are a plenty.

I dunno if ya know it m8 but an mc is to hype up a crowd full stop it doesnt matter about flow or anything its about getting the ravers wanting to dance and on tape packs??? i personally cant see how any mc can ruin a tape pack unless they waffle and waffle s#which oddysey so clearly doesnt

mc odyssey was good with whizzkid but hes 2 noicey all he says is "MARK E G AND THE ODYSSEY MC" and then "1 MORE TIME WHEN I SAY MARK E U SAY G MARK E MARK E "and then he says it 5min l8r wots goin on

What aload of bollox seriosuly, Odyssey might not be as big as storm and whizzkid fair play but hes always at the big raves and he is extremly good.
If people actully went raving and didnt bitch 24-7 on here theyd realise oddysey is a good mc, hes got confidence, crowd interaction the works which makes him wicked and the RAVERS respect oddysey.
