A few concerned people have contacted Nick Arnold from Bang, regarding our remix:
Bang vs. Paradise - Sunshine on a Cloudy Day - Forcefour Mix
This is an official remix using vocals by "Jo James", we did the remix with our Sound Engineer Andy Rossa who uses the remix name Forcefour, which is why its called the Forcefour Mix..gets all our names on the Vinyl..lol
I sent an early draft to Alex Pepper 'Radio Aire' Leeds in Yorkshire to have a listen, even I was suprised that he played it on Saturday night, first track on his Show!
Alex has now made it Choon of the week on his Drivetime show, and has cut it down to a rough edit but the Bassline Clashes, DJ's trying to be too clever, heh..I have to stress that this is an early version, and the finished product will be on Vinyl with in the next couple of weeks!!
First of all a MASSIVE Thankyou to Nick Arnold for asking us to remix it, and secondly a MASSIVE Thankyou to Alex Pepper for playing it before it was even finished..lol

I think this newer version of, sunshine on a cloudy day, is poo and a discrace to the original!

We all know Nick's a great guy.
I haven't heard this track yet, but when I do, I'll tell you how I feel, as I haven't heard it yet and was previously asked, what style of music is the track, I'm guessing Trance???

LOL... ok before everyone starts freaking out!
I had mailed Silver and was waiting for his reply before I posted this news but Rob beat me to it.... now....
Firstly, yes this is a trance remix, but hang on before y'all start pressing "reply to topic"...
There is a DEDICATED hardcore remix ready to go with this tune. I have asked a few times on here, in fact it was a poll at one point, "Would you mind your hardcore on a CD/vinyl if it meant that it had to share with other genres?" and the response was that the majority were OK about it.
So....
We're getting a buzz going on this version first, in order to be able to get a larger label interested in signing it, THEN when it goes for full release it will feature the new HARDCORE remix by...... hehehehe you'll have to wait :)
So dont panic, this will be the Bang! part of the CD, and will hopefully get right out there and say "UP YOURS" to those that don't like hardcore.
Alex Pepper on that station also does regular Hardcore nights (see his previous listing on his page) so he supports hardcore too.
I know you might not like this version, but for the future, it looks like thats the only way I can get my hardcore stuff to you, by sharing the vinyl with other genres. Unless you want to wait for my album next year.
I hope you show it support and I'll have a clip of the hardcore mix for 2003 up here soon. If you do, then I'll be able to do it again and again and release more stuff.

Great I'm all up for CD releases as this is my prefered style of music media anyway, and I certainly don't mind having other styles on there aswell, Variety is the spice of life and all  .
Nick I would very much like to hear some of the new stuff you have written, I'm sure you are very busy....especially now you have the little one . If I recall I remember you mentioning a candle-light version of a track you have written.....which I'd love to hear a clip of......or of course I'll buy the cd single if/when it's to be released  .

Really appreciate that mate, cheers for the support! I'm looking for webspace at the moment and when I find some I'll upload a few bits and pieces. I'm getting the new mixes done for the "Shooting Star part 2" track. I wont mention the title yet though.
The last space I had closed me down because I had "illegal" MP3's on it. Actually, they were all mine but they wouldbnt believe me and I lost everythin. They wouldnt let me back in to retrieve stuff. So if anyone has some space for lil ol' me ......

how much space do you need? i've a few megs spare on my dad's site,he's let me use it for hosting my audio clips and mixes. not sure exactly how much space i've got left but if there's enough then feel free to up it to there

cheers mate! much appreciated but I think you might get closed down. The transfer last time I put a post on here was 1 GB in a day, and that was for a silly RM file!!! I'd hate for your Dad to lose his space or account.
I'm going to get space, it's quite cheap these days anyway.
Ive had mails..... people asking why I'm doing SUN, and where's the new material.
SUN... because I wanted to test the waters with you guys. I didnt want to try this with a new tune because I'd hate it to go wrong.
New stuff... on it's way soon.

Great news Nick. I'm sure i speak for the majority of people here when I say i'm really looking forward to hearing the new tune and your new stuff too.
I'm slowly coming round to the idea of 'sharing' hardcore with other genres and hopefully in the long run this can lead to some very interesting (and bigger) things.
Big respect for your continued support for the scene.

i think this is pretty good, in fact i would by the trance remix on vinyl even if there wasnt a hardcore mix.

i'd like it better if it was a bit more uplifting but then again i've yet to hear the other mixes,i'm really looking forward to hearing the hardcore mix. as for the vocals.....OMG!! they're brilliant! massive respect to jo there :)
and nick,about the webspace,i'm allowed a gb a month let alone a day! LOL hope you find some space soon m8

Sorry i must have clicked on sumthing else the song isnt poo its good for a trance version!
