While Japan sounds fun and cool... and don't get me wrong it is some of the time... but when you actually understand Japanese and listen to the rude comments that Japanese make to non Japanese people it really gets to you.

The pain comes from the fact you goto school... everyone stares at you, people are afraid of you, teachers are extra rude to you...

Train... people instantly think your stupid and can't understand Japanese because Japanese is the hardest language in the world and only Japanese people could understand it, again get stared at, people around you start talking about foreigners, you sit down but no one will sit next to you.

Shopping... you walk in, everyone looks at you, if you have never been to this store before someone will follow you around making sure you dont steal anything... You goto pay and the first thing the register person says to you in English is "We don't carry cash" (this has only happened once for me).

I have been to places and they refuse to serve foreigners, I walk in and they say "no foreigners"...

Not everyone is like this... but at least 50% of the people I meet are...

take some of Silvers advice, I had recenly been in Japan for a month, first I stayed on Sado Island, (which is off the coast of Niigata) for 3 weeks, and i went to school there, this was a school trip, everyone was nice over there, however, in Tokyo, Kyoto some of that stuff is sad, but true, they are rude, (at least the Japanese busisness men are) but the jokes on them, i KONW Japanese, not alot, but i know enough to get around in Japan, some of this is true, so what i do is i talk trash back to them in Spanish

esos que saben mucho no disen nada, esos que ablan mucho no saben nada! 5 points for onw who can translate this :P

all right ryg0r you get 5 points but thats not what i said to the rude Japanese, what i said was "pinche Japonese putos, chinga tu madre guey!" or if you want to go the extreme you can say "OE, OKAMA, KUTABARE!" or "BUKKOROSHITE YARU!" but then again i really do recommend it

hey, EUTO, did i offend you in some way?, if I did, i'm sorry,

BTW, "OE, OKAMA, KUTABARE" means (at least i think it means) "hey F****t f**k you" so i really don't recommend saying that in Japan, OR what I said in Spanish ^_^;

(and yea I AM Mexican, and proud of it :P who here is NOT proud of what their Ethinic backgound is?) im just saying

esos que saben mucho no disen nada, esos que ablan mucho no saben nada! 5 points for onw who can translate this :P

Just forget the mean 50% and think of the nice 50%
Every country has people like that, next time say to them in japanese,
that people in other countrys see japanese people as very kind and friendly
