For those of you who (like me) found the original Guide a useful and amusing tool with which to navigate the sometimes confusing world of 'electronica' (ha ha), I thought you'd like to know that the bigger, brighter, and possibly better successor has arrived.
For anyone not familiar with the Guide, it's a nice not-so-little primer on genres and subgenres and stuff. Just don't take it too seriously and you'll enjoy it, whilst also possibly learning something in the process.
It can be found here or here. (Those on dial-ups may wanna think about finding a computer with broadband to view it on.)

Ferchrissakes people, it's music. There's no such thing as an exact genre definition, and musical taste varies from person to person. You've got to expect that the writer of the Guide is gonna blast some genres/artists/tracks that you like, and that some of the definitions aren't exactly what you'd expect them to be. Take it with a grain of salt and a pound of humour.
(BTW ... I agree entirely with UK hard house being described as 'stupid'  )
