Well your mixer should have 2 pairs of outputs on phono connections, and your soundcard will have either a pair of phono inputs or a 3.5mm jack input. Basically you either a phono to 3.5mm jack lead (quite probable if you have a "budget" card) or a phono to phono lead.

Well, you should have 2 sets of outputs (4 phono connections in total) on the back of your mixer. One of these will be labelled output and the other will be laelled "tape" or something along htese lines. "output" goes to your stereo so you can hear what your playing, and "tape" goes to your computer.

Underloop; not all mixers have the tape output. If chiz bought a package deal from stanton or numark, they include low-level mixers with no tape output...

You can not just plug your deck into your computer even with the right cables because a turntable gives out a phono signal and not an audio output.
You will need to do into an old amp or mixer or something to translate the phono into a normal line audio.

You Can(ish) Now.. I'm not sure about this though i've never seen it personally but ive been told about it... youve got decks and a couple of black vinyls.... the decks connect up to your computer and you can drag and drop any mp3 onto the blank vinyl..... Ive probably said that ALL wrong lol but anyway you get the point... (i think)
