it went to the right person
sy does more for the scene than the normal ravers realise, he gives up and coming labels a chance, which is what this scene needs to thrive

Very much agreed there Oli G!! Sy deserved to win it, i was rooting on Scott Brown, but wasnt much worried as he got the best DJ!

i don't think raver baby should have won it.... how can best label award go to a label that constantly is up to 12 months behind schedule and sends out promos up to 18 months before a tune is released??

or is it just judged on the tunes?

If you look at raver baby they have 20 releases out in about 20 months... Not bad if you ask me.

No, it's judged on whoever got the most votes. Raverbaby are releasing the most popular tunes at the moment, so they got the most votes.

It's that simple!

I voted for Raverbaby, it was a hard choice. I'm not a DJ or anything, i buy mainly CD's. So it was hard to deside that, should i vote for the Label that releases the CD's, or the label that releases the tunes on the CD's.
Well i voted the label that releases the CD's -> Rumour Records.
When there was the final voting there was only labels that releases vinyl's,
so i had no other choice then go with the label that has the best tunes,
and as i always hear the new tunes when i buy a new CD, the release schedule doesnt really bother me... You see this wasnt a voting, where only DJ's can vote...
