True, since she was about 15 she's been in showbizz, but she shines like a star, while I'm soooooo sick of brit and chris cuz they're soooooo hyped and they get lame after a while (can't get enough of shakira on the other hand  ). Even her music is quite alright (prefer the spanish ones though)  .

Yeah Shakira has been writing songs since she was 12, and is not that new. I mean she might be "new" to us, but...meh....
Yeah, her spanish tracks are cool. I love latin music

I believe it might be a while longer ago since she released her first song (I think she was about 16/17). She's also been in a soap-opera, she writes songs 'n shit, and she is really commited to improve the situation for a lot of ppl in Columbia ('n I ain't talking the cartel y'all). She's just to f*cking good for this f*cked up world... Damn I love her!!!!!!
