Not much is exactly going to change without him...
its sad he's going, but all his major contributions ended years ago. He could have done his announcement last year cos he's not done anything since. Doesnt sound as if much will change anyway... Hes still doing a tour, and the odd production

Although I haven't been able to notice Sharkey that long, I'd compare it to well beloved football players, who publish their end of career with tears in their eyes, due a major injury.
They seem to had been focused on their comeback very deeply for months/years, but it simply didn't work.

the news is a damn shame tho, regardless of whether he's been absent for a yr or not. altho i can't remember off the top of my head any tracks of his from the last 5yrs, i am looking forward to his website provided there isn't another delay. am looking forward to getting a hands on some of his tracks
