I have an essay for psychology and im writing it on the "psychological benifits of raving" can you please answear the following in as much detail as you feel you need....
How long have you been partying?
What is the best thing raving has done for you?
That is the worst thing that raving has done?
me eg.
How long have you been partying ( how many parties)? 9 months, 11 parties ( i think)
how many parties have you been unsober at? 1
What is the best thing raving has done for you? raving has given me something that filled a hole inside my body. raves and ravers let me escape through music. The helped me feel connection with other humans and made me believe that i do belong somewhere. raving saved my life
That is the worst thing that raving has done? umm raves have shattered my relationahips with members of my family. because im keeping such a big sectret form them they suspect me and don't trust me. my sister almost never talkes to me.

My favorite benefit would have to be the free dental coverage.

how many parties have you been unsober at? 0%.. unless i was drunk :)
What is the best thing raving has done for you? Made lots of friends, lots of fun :)
That is the worst thing that raving has done? Makes me tired the next day..

how many parties have you been unsober at? probably about a 1/4 of them
What is the best thing raving has done for you? introduced me to a world of music that was and for the most part still is unbeknownst to most of society
That is the worst thing that raving has done? walking out of a venue and getting hit with sunglare after spending 8 hours in a dark place does wonders for retinas =P ummm...i really don't know other than puting a lot of miles on my car and making me sore for the next couple days afterwards =P

What is the best thing raving has done for you? made loads of mates, the buzz u get when u walk through the door is intense
That is the worst thing that raving has done? makes my legs hurt! annoying 4 hour coach rides home are also not needed!
how many parties have you been unsober at? sober..not many, unsober..LOADS!!

MADE ME REALISE MY PURPOSE IN LIFE. RAVING/HARDCORE IS WHAT I LIVE 4.WITHOUT IT ID .... WELL I DUNO WHAT ID DO WITHOUT IT.DOESNT REALLY BEAR THINKING ABOUT. ALSO HELPED ME REALISE THAT THERE ARE SOME REALLY GOOD PPL OUT THERE AND NOT EVERYONES TRYING 2 FÚCK U OVER

RAVING HASNT DONE ANYTHING BAD DIRECTLY. BUT INDIRECTLY IVE BEEN KICKED OUTTA MY HOUSE ETC ETC

partying: 2 1/2 years
done for me: made so many friends and memories, and openned up a life that i wouldn't have been exposed to otherwise
worst: err... the mondays after going to school are kind of sketch =P
sobriety: been sober for 'em all

since 95/96 until now, but had about 2 years without... I'm raving almost every weekend now and have been for the past year.
What is the best thing raving has done for you?
Made so many friends, become more social, more outgoing, made me the far more interesting person i am now than what i would have been!
That is the worst thing that raving has done?
money as silver said... sometimes days after your sore and hurting...
how many parties have you been unsober at?
parties, or events and nights out raving... i'll assume the latter... i would say 90% i've been sober at... hate drunks @ raves, its about other stimulants if you know what i mean... then i'd say 5% i've been without ;)
