OK I think some one posted it before but I have a few things to add to it
1. What benefits have you had from raving both physical and mental?
2. How old are you?
3. How often do you rave sober?
4. Do you believe raves and other underground events are discrimated against by the media and authorties?
I would appreciate it everyones comments this is for a school research paper Thanks in Advance :)

also note sober refers to not taking other drugs besides liquor since liquor is legal

Raving is a good workout. Whether or not you take drugs, bouncing like an idiot for 6hrs is a great way to burn fat and tone muscle. You also meet lots of fun people.
Also, because being a raver necessarily means being part of a non-mainstream music scene, you develop an appreciation of music that is deeper than is possible if you stick to the usual top40 commercial schlock.

I've done it once.

Not so much discriminated, but misunderstood.

1. What benefits have you had from raving both physical and mental?
well the excercise,,, but breathing in everyone's smoke is kind of a downer... i enjoy it and it's a way to release and unwind from things... overall good time =)
2. How old are you?
just turned 19
3. How often do you rave sober?
always sober
4. Do you believe raves and other underground events are discrimated against by the media and authorties?
yep, deffinately unfairly portrayed because it isn't mainstream. odds are you'll find the same amount if not more drugs at the equivilent public outting, also i feel less threatend at a rave then i do at a club.

As a smoker, i hate smoking inside, blaah... Although i like those smoking "glass boxes" where the aircondition is so powerful that it feels like its windy

1. What benefits have you had from raving both physical and mental? Not much.
I was always pretty fit anyway so it was just extra exercise to me.
Now i'm old and knackered so i wouldn't last a whole night!
2. How old are you? 32
3. How often do you rave sober? ALWAYS. Drugs/Drink not required.
4. Do you believe raves and other underground events are discrimated against by the media and authorties?
Yes, but only because it IS underground and not fully understood. If raving was more mainstream there would be much more acceptance.
Hope that helps.

1) Agree with most ppl on here.....great exercise and a great way to meet people.....this scene is by far the most friendly.....
2) i'm 19
3) Always...never once touched drink or drugs......the music is enough [:P]
4) I think hardcore is discriminated against in the way that almost everyone outside the scene think its all about the drugs its not! its about the happy vibes!!!
