what is a RAM file cus just tried to download a sample and it wont play - its a RAM file whats that mean

yeah. its a real audio file, but with text added (for streaming etc.) .... real jukebox, real one etc. should play it ok.... try www.download.com good luck!

i have tried sooooooo many times a million billion gazillion times and its been 3 hours and theres 6% left and then the internet disconnects. this has happened so many times its killin me!!!

You need DAP - download accelerator plus. If your downloading and you get disconnected the download will resume where it stopped once you reconnect.

maybe they've got all the extra stuff open in their real player, like the internet browser and whatever other crap they have when you first install it..
mines just the main window, menu and the play controls

There is real alternative, it's just the codec without the stupid player and all the spyware. Works great with MediaPlayer Classic.

Btw, isn't ram files the small files that only contains an url? In that case, just open the ram file in notepad and copy the url to the real file in your browser and you can download the file to your hd.
