Well i have to say hixxy. i know i know... GLORY HUNTER right!!!. well no. Since about 98 i told my self right chose. It came to hixxy because of one tape i just loved. since then ive listened to each hixxy tape first from every tape pack and the styles change. ive heard old school, slight drum and bass and hardcore. and its always fresh. Lets not forget the Raver Baby Label also

Yeah hixxy does play a large variety of choons but there is no doubt his mixing has let him down a fair bit live. My choice goes to Dj Sy because he plays more choons than just his own label and he is the most creative of the big names out there.

yeah thas a good choice. I know hixxy seems to stick to the BABY label but its unique and theres always fresh stuff. Scott brown (DJ OF THE YEAR) plays the same stuff and although yeah hixxys mixin seems to have gone down the pan a little, his choice and producing ability i believe is excellent

But we won't hold that against them

Seriously though, I have so many fave DJs. Sy's Old School sets are second to none!! Then theres Sharkey who I rate most highly as a DJ. His sets flow incredibly well. Then Brisky's tune selection is wikkid.

If I could create a "Super DJ" it would be Brisk's tune selection, Sharkey's ear for mix building teamed up with Sy's mix style and scratching....... now theres an idea for a tag team line up!!

Dj hixxy's an animal? i always thought he was a bloke to be honest

my favourite is Dj Sharkey - he's kept the love for the scene, he's an awesome producer and his sets are minted, he's a hardcore Idol. respect to the man sharkey

Second comes Dna - Because his tunes are absolutely mental and he wasnt afraid to try new things before everyone started slagging him off and he left.

And third, Brisk - he plays his sets fast, hard, mental and his tunes are phat.

yep hes actually a friendly cuddly bear, quite famously used to play paddington bear.. and he went thru a phase of covering for winne the pooh when he had an affair with piglets wife.... i tell u, these DJs!!

**

he he he.... well I gotta say Sy got me into the music and hes kept me here too :-) amazing bloke IMO - the Godfather init!! lol, na he is amazing thou, only bloke who can fill an empty room during a drum n bass event no way you cant enjoy a set of his...

i reckon Scott Brown deserves helluva lot of recognition too, maybe he is a little repetative but hey if u got summat good stick to it! gives a little variety in his sets amongst the rest of trancified stuff...

Hixxy... muuuuuhhhh. I liked it when it was happy hardcore from hixxy, now he shud just get on with it and go commercial, hes obviously eventually gna end up there so he shud just go for it. (sorry!)
