Not happy hardcore but "DJ's Take Control/Way In My Brain" got to number 11 in the charts back in 91.
On a ragga tip by sl2 got to number 2 in 1992.
on a happy tip, "Rainbow Islands" - Seb made it into the charts in 96 cant remeber the position it got to.
Hope that helps

I think scooter got into the top 20 with 'Back in the Uk', I remember it being on the radio. Technoheads went to No1 with 'I wanna be a hippy' Scooter have tune at No 7 in the charts right now 'Ramp - The Logical Song', It's not really a hhc song but the vocals sound like they should be on one.

Charly Lownoise & Mental Theo got to nr 5 in the german top charts in one week with "hardcore feelings" and I've seen many others too, but never a HHC chartbreaker like that.

Some may not count it(im sure if i would) but N-Trance set you free (the original mix) stormed the charts in the UK. Reasons for classing it as hardcore-listen to the tape sets of hardcore raves from 1991 it was featured on loads of Harcore sets, check out Tom Wilson Fantazia the Big Bang. I you class it as Hardcore, I guess it could be classed as the most successful Hardcore song ever!
Im sure Searchin for my Rizla was high in teh Uk dance charts.

Im sure Children of the Night was QFX. I have a Nakatomi mix of it but I thought the original was done by QFX. Did QFX ever remix it or anything?

Hi,
Herz an Herz and Kleiner Satellite by Blümchen made it in the top 20 in Germany. 99 Luftballons (red ballons) by Nena came in, too.
