They're very nice. used some in a club and was pretty impressed. Good sound and good build. What more can you want.

There are much better headphones out there if you're prepared to part with some serious cash. Not really aimed at the DJ market mind.

ahh well ive seen a couple vids on youtube from the dj tutor and he went to the bpm show and i guess the guy from pioneer dj. said that they were mostly aimed towards djs and there pioneer dj equipment so i guess they tweeked out the sound quality so its better then the hdj 1000s a bit but eh i have the sony mdr-v 700. there good but im going to keep those and probally use my new 1s where i go out and play

I love my pioneer HDJ-1000's so the 2000's have gotta be good.
Im guessing with pioneers naming strategy that we can expect CDJ-2000's sometime? :D

like the look of them, 290g weight is a bit heavy tho, And it says that's excluding the cord. also i can see problems from that xlr. don't look too secure to me, more chance of a dodgy connection or something coming loose in there tbh.
nice looking headphones tho. anyone seen a price anywhere for it,

the 2000s are all ready out i got mine today but there not out in the US yet so but i ordered mine from htfr.com i like them they fit perfectly over my ears. what i really like is the detachable cord from the headphones with the XLR so when you put it in the bag you dont have to jam the cord in the bag along with the headphones. the sound is really good havent REALLY tried them out because have played anywhere live yet. but i give them a 2 thumbs up as my review

Mini XLR is miles better than any other headphone connector. XLR is the standard in pro audio setups so I don't see how it could NOT be reliable.
