Right, im very very very very annoyed, disapointed, upset etc. I just been chilling avin a gud laff wiv my mates, n we were listening to kiss on sky, n for the first tiem i heard flip and fill feat kelly lorena - heart of gold.....I know this is a pretty much dead subject but i really object against the remixes after hearing that, before i thought it was good for the scene, exposure etc....but now after hearing that i am well pissed off, this tune hel;d so many memories, so many emotions for me it was unbeliveable, i herd thsi remix and sum1 had to tell me it was heart of gold thats how shit the remix was, ok i was only 1/4 listening but when i started to listen proper it was feckin shite, it was as if it was taking the piss outta teh original, im very dissapointed in this mix. i aint herd teh hixxy or demand mix yet, but if its anything like the one i heard tonite god help hixxy n demand!!!!
Sorry about this pissed up rant, but do we really need w@nkers taking the piss outta our scene by making insulting tunes liek that, FLIP AND FILL BEWARE!!!!!! YOU ARE NOW MY PUBLIC ENEMY NUMBER ONE!!!!!! U FUKSHITES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's been said before and it'll be said again: If you don't like a song, then don't listen to it. Go dig up the originals and blast 'em through your ear-canals to wipe off any residue of the remixes that may remain. In future, reach for the channel knob the moment you hear so much as the opening bar of the offending remixes, so you don't ever have to go through this ear-ache again.
One thing's for sure, don't slate trance producers for producing crap. They're trance producers. It's what they do.

yeah i don't think all trance is crap either, but i agree with the point about just not listening to it. HOWEVER, i can identify with midway's problem, once you have a shitty mix that you have to listen to all the time, it does make the one you usually listen to less special. i haven't heard any of these mixes, the shooting star nor heart of gold.

i like trance up to 2000 eg. mind body and soul euphoria cd but since 2000 its just got to charty for my likes and all the good trance artists/djs have stopped and now your getting shite like dj alligator ex..
so id say trance is good uptill the year 2000

ummm ... where's this 'have to' business coming from? And if the remix is so s***, wouldn't that make the original all the more special to listen to, as in, it sounds the way it's *supposed* to sound?
Oh and I haven't listened to the new remixes either - I'm not too concerned about HOG cuz I'm not a big fan of the original, but I'm *certain* to hate the new Shooting Star if I ever hear it (although if I ever get caught on the dancefloor at NV or something when it gets played then I probably won't be bothered getting off).

my sister (who's 13) was watching the box on sky (crappy pop channel) and on came an interveiw with flip n fill. the were talking about shooting star and how it was a hardcore hit from years before. then they gave excuses for why the remix was so shite. "it was far to fast for the commercial market so we had to slow it down a bit. we then made it a bit more trancy and put our own touch to it"
this was so unbeliveable i found it funny, i think these guys actually belive their remix is better than the original!!

personaly.... keep the crap about the trance remixes to your self
i personaly dont care and i dont think anyone else does, its quite harsh but stfu, noone cares

i think that flip and fill should be shot. shooting star was a classic for me, so many memories, and they ruined it. all the boy racers in our town thought they were all that playing it full blast, if only they could understand wot a shite remix it is!! im dreading hearing heart of gold, im going to have to avoid the radio etc!! what tunes will they use next?

Heh I'm doing me best to get as many boy racers playing proper Hardcore round my end :) , even if we do get laughed at :(
It seems that trance is getting cheesier and cheesier and there aint anything we can do to stop them ripping old cheesy as **** Hardcore tunes.

Alright in my defense i was very drunk last night and i should no better than starting these topics....
Oli put ur stfu stick away for a min or i'm gonna replace it wiv a can of whoopass on ur ass =P!!! That tune was very feckin special to me for reasons i aint gonna go into wiv trev listening. And it really did annoy me, and this board is for saying what you think so i did ( wrecked or not ).
Anyway while ya listening where is lost the plot held in rugely coz i struggled to find where that is?!?! U got a street map or summat on the net sumwhere?
