Yeah I'm 21 as well and I don't go as hard for as long as I used to either ... but then again, that's probably cuz we're the same person, right?
Seriously, I used to jump around like an idiot for 8hrs straight, but I got over it and now I just sorta go hard for a select few sets, have a bite of the others, and spend the rest of my time walking around, talking to people, seeing what's happening in the other areas, and generally just soaking up the vibe. I could still go the full marathon effort, but it's less a matter of being incapable than it is of wanting a more rounded raving experience.

LOL .... 21 and going on like your passed it, the truth is some nights drag on and others you don't know where the time went and when you think back you only tend to remember the best one's which always go too fast

Not past it, just that I no longer feel that a moment spent off the dancefloor is a moment wasted. 8hrs is a long time - plenty of time to experience everything that the rave offers, rather than wasting it all on one facet thereof.

I'm 24 and I have noticed that my raving abilities are slowing a bit...but I think it's because I don't take proper care of myself!

i totaly agree
and my earlier comment was aimed more at this kind of thingquote: Originally posted by mcjutt: well im 21 now ...... if theres any ravers over 20, do u suffer as much as me cos when i was 17 i could go all night
only coz i consider myself still young so it tickles me when people younger than i am talk like they're gettin old

I'm almost 21 and have the same problem from time to time. I think that I've exhausted my body with 6 years of drugz. But now, I've stopped, so I also have the getting tiered problem. But there are things you can do to avoid the fatigue...
SOLUTION N°1: nap
As silly as this may sound... take a nap before you go out. Sleep for about 2 hours and I promise you will be in a better shape.
SOLUTION N°2: energy drinks or herbs
There is a new drink called Nalu. It's a green drink filled with caffeine. Tasts much better than Red bull. If you drink a few, those work. Coffe before you go out is good. You can also try those energy pills they sell in smart shops in Holland. Some of em are worth trying, but some are complete shit.
SOLUTION N°3: Goa thinking
In Goa parties, when people dance, they perform a sort of meditation along with the beat of the music to find energy within themselves. If you ignore the thought of fatigue, then you are allready ahead. Keep moving as well. It's when you stop moving that the fatigue gets ya.
Hope that this will help ya

I'm ninteen now, i dunno i go just as hard now as ever...I'm pretty sure the day i slow down will be a long way off.
Most of the time i will work a full 8 hour day at work (where i stand all day) and then go out raving all night for 8 or 10 hours.
For the most part I never stop dancing and apparantly I have become known for that...but occasionally i like to stop to chat with people for a bit (usually not long though).
