Hey Guy,
For years I wanted to mc and crapped out at the last minute, I didn't get how the could sound so cool on a mic and me a prat, even the ones with the high pitched cockney accents, then thinking about it and being on a drama course I thought this is a role ain't it, I've gotta act it, Now I sound like the Bollox!! sometimes I frighten myself thou abit repeatious at times but i don't use my voice I use my mc name's voice and he is Da Boy Trippa!! As a DJ I am Rebellion but when the Trippa takes the mic I know my true profession, as an actor if I though 'GOD its my family and they really think I am Jack from 'Jack and the Beanstalk' I would never step on stage again!!
Aka Marshall and Slim Shady, I bet Marshall though a nice guy is a crap rapper!!
Take on the role then they don't hate you, they either love or hate your character, that you have created!! and if they don't like it, you can, change it at the next gig, sh$t its gets really bad change your mc name
Someone once sad to me acting is the weird combination of Humility and Arrogance, The Arrogance to get up there and the Humility to take what comes after, get a thick skin and let it bouncy off!!
I bet you get more compliments than hassle, why do you think all actors are 'Luvies' 'Oh Darling you were wonderful!' (God I hate those W$$kers!!) Sorry I digress most will go.........;
'So How was I?'
Yeh.....you was good!'
'BUT how was I?'
I said..........good, ok for a first time'
'How can I improve?'

People analysis a lot less than you think, and a lot
1) miss it entirely
2) Think your great cos you there mate
3) Don't know you ( so who gives a toss anyway)
on point three actually they are the best compliments and worst put downs, espcially when over heard
Never the less, get up there and if in doupt Scream at them
Next Time, there WILL be a next time and you WILL be up there!!!

thats a great peice of advice. and thinking about ir u very right justin is this chilled raver gut that wants to have a good time and make music and dj, mc jutt how ever is this cheeky side very confident, perfect rhyming and the crowd pleaser but i think my mc career could be over as soon as it ended
