careful mate, round these parts no one mentions garage...
lemme tell you a little story bout an old friend of mine...
he was a good man, who enjoyed many forms of music, from hip hop to garage to rap rock, and was beginning to enjoy dance music, listening to the radio he found that what was on offer wasnt satisfying enough, he wanted something harder and with more of a vibe, something less commercial...
well this friend of mine, he came across hard dance, and eventually found hardcore, which he decided he enjoyed,
however he didnt know about hardcore and garage's turbulent relationship, stemming from differences in attitude and ideology...
he came here one day and he asked who here also enjoyed garage...
suffice it to say the response wernt pritty, regular forum users dashed for their computers, sensing a disturbance in the aura of happyhardcore.com, and they collected and tore him apart verbally...
well one of the more computer literate users tracked him down to the house of which he was a resident, and they collected from australia to japan, from thailand to belgium, and they grouped together in a small cafe near my friends house, and caused much havoc with the anger they felt on their journey,
by the time they reached his house they were so incensed they had already caused well in excess of twenty thousand pounds damage, and by the time they reached my friends house, well, they threw his mother and father in the back of truck, which they later drove off a cliff, and took my friend away for conditioning,
thy strapped him to a chair and strapped headphones to his head, playing Toytown on repeat for seventeen days and seventeen nights,
then they replaced Toytown with Definition of a badboy, which they played for seventeen days and seventeen nights, and then replaced with dj dione - oh god, which they again played for seventeen days and seventeen nights, gradually gettin harder and more obscure until my poor friend was forced to listen to 550bpm nazi speedcore, at full volume for seventeen days and seventeen nights...
after conditioning, he returned to the real world, confused, half deaf, and truly repentant that he ever mentioned garage on happyhardcore.com,
he then went on to become DJ Sammy.....
a lesson for us all there i think....
thats what happens....
