why is there always about 20 people in the chatroom but **** all people realy there if ya get me id call banning to the lurkers
since 1999 ive been on special quest
i set out to do a job and to be the best
since picking up the mic i gotta rip it up
u can jump on the mic but theres no1 like the jutt

Yea,it's really annoying because most of the time nobody talks.
Its a chatroom and people go in and dont talk they just lurk.

A little concerning yes, but ever been to a club or a party and there are always people hanging... I guess they are waiting for something interesting...
Also alot of poeple seem to now live in the chat room, they never disconnect and stay connected even when they are sleeping.

ther is some hardcore lurking going on
in ukhardcore they use a 3hr idle ban
stops lurkers, we could put one of those in place, but a lot of people dont like them
(as long as you dont ban us ops heh)

Well i dont live in the chat room, ive been there only like 5 times.
but when i am there i dont talk much, coz first i think in finnish what i write, then i try to translate it in to english, and then try to figure out how to write it. and that takes some time if theres many complicated words, so theres no point writing when it comes in 1-2min delay...
i only go there to "spy" people like simon

lurkers ha ha, i think a good idea would be an auto away system which will automaticly kick you out if you dont say anything in a certain amount of time, say 10 minutes.

nah 10 minutes is a bit harsh,what if ya have to go for a dump but you got the shits and end up there for 15 minutes? i'd say at least an hour before you get kicked
