yesterday i wa jus listin to a tape that i ahve made and it was on quite loud and ma mum came in and goes 'steven'
'yes mother' i replyed (u no like u do) and she goes 'this sounds like rave music'
' yes wel dun mother why?' i asked
and she gave me a rely strang look and sed 'no reason i just dont think u shud b listin to it'
'WHY!' i snaped bk
'wel arnt all ravers mad heads' she sed
'wel yea we are i supose but nothing like u mite think' and she looked again and sed 'i dont want u listin to it steven beacuse it sounds to 'Hard'
'thats cos its 'hard-core mother and its ment to b 'hard' and for about an hour she was tryin to get me to stop lisitin to it sayin she was goin to throw all my cds and tapes away!!! in the end i won cos im gr8  but dus anyone else have anyone who dunt agree with them listin to hardcore?

Mothers day is this weekend, i suggest u make ur mom a comp of all the cheesy ass songs and maybe shell like it. My mom loves the cheesy hardcore!

lol just play some force and styles or some shit like that, its just like sped up 80's music, then u get her hooked on that and gradually get her into the harder stuff

Dad likes all stuff like 99 red balloons n shake ya shimmy remix, i think he wants to like real hardcore but refuses to go thru his mid life crisis lol

When my mom tries to get me to shut my music off, i just turn it up more and pretend i cant hear her. Then i throw stuff at her if she tries to turn it down.

just don't have an attitude when you're confronted about it. be calm and act like it's just music that you like (which it is). problems usually start if you get angry about it, because your parents think that the angry/hard music is making you have an attitude. it's the same with most things... you have to make your parents get over the misconception that the music you listen to is making you have a negative attitude towards anything...

my mum has no problems with hardcore or anything.She just says its "That
bloody headbangin music"or "It all sounds the same"...which is not true [@:]
