i used to get "turn that jungle music down" and was constantly saying it wasnt jungle, but every now and then i'd stick jungle on just to please them lol
oh and another is "change that record you've been playing that same one for the last hour!"

My rents really don't care what I listen to...but when I'm using my decks I turn it down (a little) so they don't start to bother me...

LOL, my parents screw if the music is a tiny bit loud......they always try and say....you can have the music on just turn the bass compleatly off!!!!!!!! kinda takes the point out of dance music really.

My comp and major music center is right next to my parents room so I get cut from my tunes at like 8 at night, it really blows.
So I go down stairs to my other comp and whip out the trackers instead.
Either way noone around me appreciates good music (HH) so it doesn't matter where and when I'm told to turn it down.
You just have to turn back up when they close the door

na my 'rents are cool with my music.
did have a funny day at work last week tho. i was listening to one of my mixes full blast upstairs and my manager came up and said IS THIS TRANCE THEN? and started to bop around to it!! seeing a 45 year old man dance around to scott brown was the funnyest thing ever i nearly pissed myself laughing

hahaha fazza, ur manager sounds well cool!!! my mum hates it, says its all "thump thump thump thump thump" which is true in a sense i guess. she prefers it to drum an bass tho, but my rents are a wee bit cynical about black people.
i try not to piss my mum off tho as i dont really want to, an if she was gettin pissed off id turn it down or off cuz shes my mum an i think i owe her sumthin! i certainly wudnt throw stuff at her STiWES you nasty bastad!!

My mom just really likes it XD She was into Disco and the like, so I guess it's just another generation of the same, to her. Hates it in the morning though-too..."noisy" or something. Though -I- can't wake up without it...

My mum has learnt to live with it these days..Now i got fruity loops aswell all she can hear is thump thump thump!
-She also dosnt mind happyhardcore, she likes the old elstak stuff 96'

what i can understand is when people say to us, that HHC is just thud thud thud!!!  it makes me so ANGRY
oh yeah, and that it gives you headaches!!! I don't know anything better for a headache than a dose of classical and then pumping trance and hardcore

my parents are cool with it, i only spin during day hours so it isn't that bad, plus my mom was into the disco and likes it cuz it "brinsg her back" though it's funny watching a 50+ y/o woman try to dance to hardcore though still anoying cuz of the whole teenager and its my music part. she did try to make me return ultimate sex track though, she didn't particularly like that.

he he he my mammy is ok about it, she has a ratpack CD in her car she thinks thats ok, likes Everson Allens MCin voice.. ha ha!! Thats usually the only problem she has thou is the MCs, like Storm.. she feckin hates Storm, always does pisstake impressions of him goin 'URGGHHHH URGHHHHHH WHISTLE CREW' and this lol... shes funny thou keeps poutin cos I refuse to take her out with me... oh ye like I'd take her out with me init...
