why are loadsa ppl slaggin hixxy off for makin 'trancey' tunes at the minute???
has no-one else noticed all our top producers are doing it? its just the trend in the scene at the minute.
hixxy is the bollox!
i hate to see so many ppl slaggin off someone whos done so much for the scene, and will continue to do so.
have you got some of this hardcore power?
let the bass beat louder....

Hey i have loads of respect for hixxy. Hes never really been my styke to be honestt though and he just doesnt have a lot of vocals in his tunes. Im starting to miss the old happy vocals a bit :(

Cheeze died years ago, its been like this for a while, I like sy and unknowns work atm, Uk older style hardcore.
Hixxy sparked alot of that newer raverbaby type style.

Im not saying i dont like the new trancey stuff. I love the new quosh and Breeze & Styles tunes that are coming out. I dont know what it is with hixxy. Maybe im not keen on his kickdrums. God knows. Its just my oppinion

Alot of people have mentioned the same about Hixxys Kickdrums, but really think about how much they take up for the percentage of the song.. almost nothing I think theres no probs with it. When it comes down to ones song being judged theres so much more to the song then just the kickdrums.

True true but when mixing i find that some of his tunes dont sound great in the mix because of his drums

yea its a lil trancy but the hardcore is stil there, hixxy mite not b one of my top DJ's but he is stil a big part of the hardcore scean

I dont have any problems with the nu style, Hixxy is producing
good tunes which many people seem to like.
I just prefer the old cheezy style.

The style has to move, has to progress and evolve or it will get old and die.
The one thing about happy hardcore is that its a prefix.
The style is really called Happy Hardcore Techno
why not have happy hardcore trance,
and happy hardcore DnB for that matter,
Its all good if you can dance to it right.

i love trancy hardcore. the trancier the better imo!! nothing better than a huge euphoric build up in hardcore. i love it. fly with you by fade for example, the build up in that tune gives me shivers everytime

Maybe Hixxy has a new gadget in his studio to make trance fx! Maybe he's just running out of ideas. Maybe HHC is evolving again! So long as some ppl like it, he's doing something right!
