What did everyone think of the new matrix movie??
honestly, i expected more caus they gave away to much in the trailers, but it was still good, but like i said it would have been better if they didn't give so much away o_0

I saw it last night. I thought it was pretty good. I honestly didn't expect it to mind-**** me anywhere near as much as the first movie, but it did. I don't think the trailers revealed too much; I mean, the trailers just give a hint of the action scenes. They pretty much left the storyline intact.

I really liked it - the little connections and references they made to mythology and such, I really liked.
Action was class too, of course.

I think its better than the 1st one.. i know alot of people will disagree lol but thats my opinion just cant wait for the conclusion to come out =) when's that Novemeber?? God...

I dunno... it was overhyped and I didn't dig it much at all... I'm hoping the third one synchs it up some, because I left the theatre just aggitated. The only problem with the fight scenes is that it loses some of the validity when it's just incredibly obvious they're not using people anymore. Moreso than that, it seems as though the most ofthe fights were pointless anyways, seeing as Neo can just reach inside of people and disassemble their codes. So why bother fighting? if nothing else, he can just fly away.

In that *big* fight with the agent smiths it was painfully obvious that it was cg.
On the whole pretty good. The first film didn't mind feck me and neither did the second :)
frankly, I'm not easily impressed, and I'm not easily mind fecked so it still rates pretty high in my book.
and yes they gave FAR TOO MUCH AWAY. Damn trailer really took the punch/surprise out of the action sequences.
I'll prolly ramble more when it's not 1:07 am :P

i didn't mind it.... but there were two things that really annoyed me:
1) neo is superman. wtf?? this is a completely stupid little addition, obviously included so they can add more danger to the fight scenes the audience would otherwise back neo as the clear favourite for. it just seems like such a cheat. "i'm in trouble, i'm gonna die, i'm gonna die i'm gonna die..... Doesn't matter, i'll just fly away!!!"
2) what was with the 'panicked citizens' gathering in the temple which turned into a giant orgy? morpheus gets up and some shit comes out of his mouth, then all of a sudden people start dancing. gradually the audience turns from the struggling people of zion into 20-30yo, mainly black, skimply clothing, dancing like they're on some serious drugs, sex everywhere etc. it was ridiculous...

Honestly, it was a wicked movie, but as i was watching the fight scenes, i could help but think "meh, i'v already scene this a million times, show me somthing new"
thats still my only complaint, and i still can't wait for the next one thoe

I cudn't resist so i just bough it on VCD. I agree with the point about it leaving u aggitated, i was just liek NOOOOOOOOOOOO i wanna know what happens, but i guess that's the mark of a good film.
Sometimes i felt that the story had been sacrifised for the sake of abit more action when it wernt really necessary.

Have had several opinions from mates all saying that this film is absolutely brilliant and serpasses all other action films up to date.. 
Sounds class, can't wait to see it

i thought the movie was rly good leaving a great ending to the sequel in november. I thought the best part out of the whole movie was when neo fought the vampires in the lobby
