Stylus ur uckin well lucky over here in ireland it would cost me about 7 grand to get insured on a 1.4 focus under my own name.i once got a qoute for E4500 on a 1.1 fiesta its a bleedin joke here.

Years of saving up and my job pays nearly £1000 a month which aint bad for any 18 year old :D i aint paid for the insurance yet my dad stept in and lent me the cash for that :D but i should be able to pay him back this month

Max Power is a good mag but personally I wouldn't put stickers that were free with a magazine on my car.

Dunno if I dare comment with all the bitchin' in this thread but...!
I got a 1.8LX Ford Escort Turbo Diesel. Bit boring to look at, but as quick as a XR31. Got 15" TSW wheels (make it look a bit better!). Normal Kenwood face off head unit and boot CD player and some 6x9 speakers. Insurance is about £700 for both me and missus.
I'm no Boy Racer! Too old and crash too much! (B4 someone starts!)
Focus' aint bad. Had one for a while (when my car was in garage - being fixed - ahem...) , they have a good driving position and they feel nice and solid. Dunno bout the 1.4 tho. We had a 1.8 and it was pretty shifty. Not as quick as our car, but felt safer!
Saving to buy a new car, but need bigger house first, so will prob drive Escort into the ground (Or a wall... ahem...). Diesel is much more economical too. Even if you hack around in it, you still only go to fill up on average half as many times as a petrol engine. New ones aren't that noisy or pollutant either.
Mostly harmless...
