It's all personal opinion! Both have different styles of mixing and song selections! Both can easily win.

For me as a dj it is SY. Ive always seen scot brown as one off the best producers but i dont rate him highly as a dj

For me Sy is also the better DJ & producer.....but thats because of personal oppinion.
The 2 are very different, If I wanted some bouncy hardcore at the moment I would listen to SY, If I wanted some slightly harder hardcore I would listen to Scott Brown.
There very different, no winner could ever become....besides there both great at what they do.

Who would win out of Scott B and Sy? Well, its a toughie, and something I'd love to see. Sy has a slight weight advantage, but Scott is faster, and has a mean left hook. To be honest I think they would both go the distance, and it would be a decision based on points.

The comparison is like Cassius Clay (Muhammad Ali) vs Tyson at his prime.
Like Tyson, Scott Brown is a harder puncher; if he caught SY in a corner then he would animalise him. But then would the greatest get caught in a corner, SY could out box Brownie any day, the experience is on his side.
Scott is a prime contender, alright perhaps a new King;
But that ain't the same as SY who in comparison, unified all three belts and has since held off all contenders and is still right up there with the best.
The sratchmaster has out lasted a ton of other Djs and still ain't lookin tired.
RESULT ONE: Sy is caught off guard...Brownie slams him with a left gabba, a right banger. Sy hits the matt it's all over in the sixth, even the old skool couldn't save him
OR
RESULT TWO: Sy fresh as a Daisy comes out from the final round, Scott's lookin tired, bleedin and bruised, his early energy has gone but he is still looking agressive.... but what's this!!! Sy with Hardcore Hustler!! he's turned the man's own tune on him!! His hit Brownie sideways!! Scratching into Shooting Star he has our hardcore gabba boy on the ropes but still he won't go down!! Sy is on top now... from classic to classic the lad's in control of the bout. Brown refuses to bow down like Foreman punch drunk he comes out swingin, Sy does the scratchmaster shuffle and hits him with a one two, if only Brown could connect!! There goes the bell...its up to the Judges now

ummm i think stevie has entirely too much time on his hands...
i think it would depend on what they would spin - oldschool, gabber, bouncy techno, or hardcore...they both excell but it depends on what style they spin that would win them over as a crowd favorite...
and what's all this nonsense anyway, you lot should be talking about who's going to win between jason & freddy =P

And another VERY worthy point in my oppinion is that currently Scott Brown would play mainly evolution records in his set, whereas Sy will play a mixture of everything from oldskool, to breakbeat.....he'd even throw in a lot of unheard new talent....and that always wins in my oppinion.
A new fresh sound  .
