na hixxy didnt turn up, nor did marley if i can remember correctly. it was a wicked nite, dont think many people paid much attention to the awards tho! anyway, off to bed coz i still havent been to sleep yet!

Aparently it was Breeze & Styles, weather you like the music you CANNOT deny that breeze is a ****ing amazing engineer, and styles's keyboard work is second to none, like the tunes or hate em, they are a good duo.
Best Hardcore DJ: Scott Brown

Best Hardcore MC: Storm
Blatantly obvious, but to be honest, gets up on stage, has the crowd at the beconing call of his little finger.

Blatantly, if sy didnt win it it would be criminal, i was suprised he did tho, because the best things he do, are things that the general public dont notice, he gives up and comings a chance, he pushes them, will sign there tracks over popular djs tracks too albums, and is generaly willing to push the scene forward.
Best Label: Raverbaby
Obvious again, but again, hate it or not, its a brand, like hoover is of vaccum, raverbaby is, of that style of hardcore, and thats the popular shit right now.
Best Record Shop: IMO Records
First hardcore record shop i ever found, and if i didnt find these i probably wouldnt have ever started playin it.

However many members we get here, ush is a community, the meetups are ****in massive, its amazing in just a few months as a member on there how many people you will know at raves, literaly hundreds, happyhardcore.coms good too, but more worldwide, so less of a tight community.

Raver baby is a good label, but i don't think it should be the best. There are many labels right now that have alot more to offer then raver baby, thats just my two sence...

kate - na scott wasnt there either, he was in holland apparently. marc smith played a blinder tho! (daveo at uproar in the sanct 22nd november - scott brown vs marc smith, sharkey b2b kev energy with sharkey mc-ing, a set by SLIPMAT, vibes with mc livlee AND a live pa by clsm!!!)
The venue was set up perfectly, the sound was superb, there was a weird strobe tunnel thing that completley f****d my head up! there was techno in the lobby courtesy of lee uhf (bloody hard techno at that!!) i even heard some makina goin off upstairs!! lol met loads of wicked people, listened to some amazing hardcore, got completley off my trolley, slapped oli in the face...again!! - all in all it was proper bo i tell thee!!
